WHAT'S HAPPENING IN FRANCE

Let's examine the hidden truths behind the uprising sparked by the killing of a 17-year-old Algerian youth by French police, through the lens of world astrology data.

The entire world has faced economic problems following the pandemic... But the economy was already struggling before then. The conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter in Aquarius in 2020 triggered the reflection of economic troubles onto the political sphere. The conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter, which occurs every 20 years, this time targeted civilization while in Aquarius. France's government has also been affected by this situation.

It continues to operate under a political administration that disregards members of parliament and political parties. In short, we are talking about a country where parliamentary opinions are being invalidated.

We are projecting the Saturn-Jupiter conjunction chart (based on Paris coordinates) onto the inner chart of France. What we observe reveals the scope of the events.

In world charts, the 11th house represents parliament, the House of Commons, and ministers, and we see the S/J conjunction falling into this house (Aquarius, 11th house).

This conjunction forms a grand air trine with France’s 2° Mars and 3° Venus. Mars rules the 1st house, which represents the people's health and welfare, while Venus governs the 7th house, which represents the country's relationships with its neighbors and its open enemies. This grand air trine, in its negative form, expresses the internal uprisings and external pressures that will create chaos and aggression in the country with perfect harmony. In reality, Parliament is aware of the situation, but the government is disregarding the meanings carried by the 11th house.

In the S/J conjunction chart, Mars is placed within 3° of the country's Ascendant, signaling that the public is prone to provocations and will exhibit wasteful and aggressive behavior. France’s natal Saturn forms a harmonious aspect with both the Ascendant and Mars, but what disrupts this is the South Node's influence on Saturn. In summary, this indicates that past unpleasant events (South Node) between law enforcement (Mars) and the government (Saturn) will unfold flawlessly (trine aspect) in this situation, leading to losses and coercion.

Past Events and France’s Connection with the EU

The killing of the 17-year-old Algerian youth by the police may seem like the spark for the uprising and internal unrest, but other underlying factors have fueled this situation. For instance, in 2017, a change was made to the internal security law, which triggered the use of disproportionate force by the police. Moreover, in previous years, the retirement age was raised to 64. Due to rising food, gas, and energy prices, the public has begun to question the government.

Similar events are unfolding in other European countries, but the epicenter seems to be France. Previously, the yellow vest protests also began in France and spread to other countries.

In this context, we can clearly state that France has become a protest hub for Europe.

Astrologically, when we compare the founding chart of the European Union with that of France, we can clearly see this situation. Specifically, the Uranus-Chiron opposition in France's chart aligns directly with the Ascendant/Descendant axis of the EU chart.

Uranus and Chiron are two contradictory indicators. Uranus represents revolutions, uprisings, and rebellions, while Chiron is associated with alienation, genocide, and divisions based on race, religion, or language. The opposition between these two in France's chart speaks of the ghettoization and conflicts among citizens of different ethnic backgrounds.

This opposition in France's chart directly aligns with the horizontal axis of the EU chart. Consequently, France’s presence within the European Union essentially turns it into a center for protests. This is why we see similar occurrences in Belgium. Since the social and economic impacts are largely the same, we observe the same unrest and uprisings in other Western European countries as well...[Image]In the seasonal ingress chart for France, where we accept the Sun's entry into Cancer at 0° on June 21 as the beginning of the 3-month period, Mars is positioned in the angular 10th house, making it the chart ruler for the quarter. (Bonatti's teachings suggest that if there is no planet in the 1st house, look at the Ascendant lord; if it is angular, accept that planet as the chart ruler for the year or the season.)

A Martian three months lie ahead for France. Mars is in Leo, emphasizing governance and bureaucracy. Its placement in the 10th house suggests that the leadership will not be allowed to make mistakes, and the public will not turn a blind eye to issues with the administration.

Mars is aligned with the star Aldebaran (aligned by declination). Ptolemy already noted that Aldebaran is a Mars-type star, associated with war and military success. However, to declare success, we must evaluate Mars' dignity and aspects. Mars, being a nocturnal planet, is in the diurnal sect, positioned to the west of the Sun (occidental). Although its conjunction with Venus offers some beneficial influence, Venus rules the 7th house (open enemies) in Taurus and the 12th house (hidden enemies) in Libra, indicating that this influence is not entirely positive.

Mars' alignment with Aldebaran clearly represents violence, disproportionate force, and danger. Additionally, Vivian Robson (Fixed Stars & Constellations in Astrology) mentions that when the Moon accompanies Aldebaran, it signifies death, stabbing, blows, and downfall. This aligns with the situation in France, where a citizen was killed due to police brutality, leading to a growing uprising.

Comparing the National Chart with the Ingress Chart

When we overlay the ingress chart on France's chart, the troublesome Mars and Leo stellium fall into the 5th house of the national chart. The 5th house, along with the 11th house, represents gatherings in central places, protests, and public demonstrations. The emphasis on Leo, along with the influence of the Moon, Venus, and Mars, represents youth. We clearly see that young people, especially those living in the banlieues (suburbs) of France, are heating up the events. Following the unrest, Prime Minister Macron stated that one-third of those arrested were young people and called on all parents to take responsibility for their children.

The chart’s symbolism not only represents youth but also depicts Mars, the natural indicator of fire and arson. According to records, 500 public buildings were set on fire, 1,900 vehicles were burned, and 3,880 acts of arson were recorded in public spaces (Euronews).

The placement of Chiron directly on the Ascendant also summarizes the racial or discriminatory aspect of the events. The Neptune-South Node conjunction reflects the collective difficulty with ideologies and beliefs, which aligns with the Islamophobic attitude surrounding the death of the Algerian youth.

Emmanuel Macron and the Ingress Comparison

Macron's chart source is from the esteemed collector Sy Scholfield (Rating AA). The outer chart is the seasonal ingress chart. In Macron’s chart, the Leo stellium falls into the 7th house, representing open enemies, and aligns with his retrograde Mars. This placement reflects a defense force that dislikes making quick decisions and refuses to accept defeat. Additionally, Macron is in his 45th year profection, which corresponds to his 10th house. The 10th house represents leadership and governance, and when we profect the 10th house, it falls into the 7th house in his natal chart. We encounter a repeating theme...

Therefore, Macron is now facing his open enemies, those who criticize his leadership. His profected 4th house, aligned with his natal Pluto in the 1st house, suggests that the opposition (4th house) and government (10th house) are under pressure from Pluto and Mars. The far-right regime opposing Macron’s government is benefiting from these events. They may be deliberately not intervening or even fanning the flames to gain an advantage. The far-right has been leveraging Macron's inability to ensure security and safety to pursue a negative agenda with the public.

Pluto has retrograded back into Capricorn after entering Aquarius. At 29°, it is forming an aspect with Macron’s 29° Midheaven. This indicates that he will have to revisit the authoritarian policies he pursued when Pluto was direct.

Macron is also experiencing a Uranus opposition. When considering the 84-year Uranus cycle, we go through a Uranus-Uranus opposition around the age of 42. Macron is currently in this phase, where he is compelled to act based on the influence of the society and mass around him, rather than individual choice.

Charles Carter (C.E.O. Carter – The Principles of Astrology) explained this situation as the "subsumption doctrine." We can translate this as the doctrine of inclusivity or submission. It states that our birth charts are part of a higher vibrational chart and cannot be analyzed in isolation. In mundane astrology, we observe this concept by comparing the charts of important figures (such as presidents) with the charts of nations.

Clearly, Macron is in a period where he must live out his personal experiences at the center of society. This challenging experience advises him to make important decisions and stand by them. We can clearly see that his natal retrograde Mars is being triggered. He is striving to avoid declaring a state of emergency. While the root cause of these events seems to be racial tension, the main underlying issue is the collapse of economic and social conditions, which is the primary issue Macron will have to address, especially with Pluto's transit.

To summarize these events, we can say that Europe is at a significant crossroads under the intense placements of Uranus, representing Western capitalism, and Neptune, representing Eastern socialism. While these events appear isolated, on a larger scale, Chiron’s influence shows that we are dealing with a regime where governance and administrative plans are insufficient. Even if protests are temporarily subdued, they will resurface.
