Turkey has long been recognized as a leader in the healthcare sector, both regionally and globally. Known for its cutting-edge medical facilities, well-trained professionals, and a robust healthcare system that serves both its own citizens and international patients, the country is often at the forefront of medical advancements. Turkey has become a hub for medical tourism, attracting people from around the world seeking high-quality treatments at affordable prices.

However, despite the strength of Turkey’s healthcare system, there are always outliers who attempt to exploit it. Recently, the Turkish public was shaken by the news of a fake doctor, Ayşe Özkiraz, who had managed to deceive not only her family but also the public, by posing as a medical professional. This incident caught the country’s attention for an extended period and raised concerns about the infiltration of fraud in even the most respected sectors.

From an astrological perspective, I can highlight that this case is yet another example linked to Mars' extended transit through Gemini and its retrograde phase during this period.

Another Case of Retrograde Mars in Gemini...

I have analyzed the chart of our country’s "fake doctor," Ayşe Özkiraz, from an astrological perspective. Based on local media sources, we have her documents and know that she was born on October 20, 1997, in Tokat, Turkey. Although we do not have her exact birth time, we can use a Sun Rising (Solar) chart to interpret her astrological profile.

Let’s examine the indicators of deception in her chart:

The 10th house represents one's public image and career. In this case, the ruler of the 10th house is the Moon, which is placed in Gemini and peregrine, meaning it lacks essential dignity. Peregrine planets often signify actions that do not belong to the native or their rightful position, such as theft or deception.

The Moon is located in the 8th house, which is the 12th house of the 9th (higher education, universities) and represents hidden, secret matters. The Egyptian term bound (mısır sınırı) for the Moon is Mars, which is the ruler of the 2nd house. The 2nd house represents one's earnings and possessions, including documents, diplomas, and other valuable assets. The fact that the Moon is peregrine and tied to Mars suggests that we are dealing with falsified or secretive actions. Looking at the ruler of the 12th house (secrets), we find Mercury, which also happens to be the dispositor of the Moon in Gemini.

Deception within the Family

In examining the indicators of how Ayşe Özkiraz managed to deceive her family by claiming to have been accepted into a university, we look to the 4th house, which rules the family. Here, we find Neptune, Uranus, and Jupiter, indicating a chaotic and confused family environment. The ruler of the 3rd house (siblings) is placed in the 4th house, in conjunction with Uranus, suggesting she lived with a step-sibling or a non-biological sibling. Saturn, the ruler of the 4th house (Capricorn), forms a trine with Mars. Let’s recall that Mars was a key indicator of her falsified documents. Planets under strain seek the nearest supportive aspect, which is Saturn's trine to Mars.

However, note that Saturn is in Aries, where it is in fall (weak), and retrograde. There is mutual reception by exaltation with the Sun, but Saturn is in a cadent house and is Occidental, not fully empowered. According to Hellenistic astrology, Saturn rejoices in the 12th house but is positioned in the opposite house here. We see that Saturn is driven toward the trine with Mars, symbolizing her desire to distance herself from the family, using deceptive means (Mars) to do so. Additionally, the trine between Saturn and Mars signifies the flow of money from the family (4th house) to support her "university education" (Mars, ruler of the 2nd house).

The Role of Relationships in Exposing the Truth

The unraveling of this web of deception was facilitated by her romantic relationships. She became close to a military officer referred to as C.T.K. in the media.

The 7th house, which governs relationships, has its dispositor in Mars. Mars, symbolizing military personnel, appears to describe her romantic partner. In relationships, Saturn often plays the role of a third party. In this case, another individual, named V.C., became involved. Saturn, representing V.C., disclosed the truth about her deception to C.T.K., leading to the exposure of her lies.
